U16: Samphires 2 v 4 Park B (Scorers Brian Hamilton, Gavin Burroughs)
Samphires were looking to avenge a previous loss earlier in the season to Park B. Fenit Samphires got off to the dream start were Brian Hamilton managed to score a fantastic goal aided by the wind from behind the halfway line. However as the first half went on Park B turned the game into their favour and were 3-1 up by halftime. In the second half Park B got a fourth, but true to their nature the boys from Fenit never gave up. They were rewarded for their efforts winning a penalty in the last few mins which Gavin Burroughs buried into the back of the net making the final score 4-2 to Park B.
U14:Listowel B 1 v 7 Samphires (Robert Monaghan (4), Dylan Ryan, Bobby O’ Connor and Eddie McCarthy)
Our u14s won their game well last weekend in terrible weather conditions. We saw some excellent midfield play with outstanding passing. Robert Monaghan, Dylan Ryan, Bobby O Connor and David Dineen played exceptionally well. It finished 7-1 to our lads who are improving with each game.
Man of the match Robert Monaghan with 4. Dylan Ryan , Bobby O Connor and Eddie McCarthy all had one each.
