Senior: Inter Kenmare 3 v 3 Fenit Samphires
We made t
he journey to Kenmare last Sunday afternoon for another league match. It was keenly contested but we were disappointed to not come away with the 3 points. The first half was even enough and it was 1 all at half time, our scorer being Daniel Clinton, their goal a penalty. We felt we had the better of it in the second half and went into a 3-1 lead through Christopher Murphy and Ryan Dolan. But in a frenetic end to the game we conceded a second goal through another penalty and we couldn’t argue with the awarding of either one. With 2 minutes left, we conceded a free at the edge of the box which was converted to the leave the full-time score 3 all. Well done to all our lads who played right to the end and to Kenmare too for a great game.
