Fenit 6-2 Castleisland
On a wet Saturday morning in Fenit our under 13 team displayed a very impressive performance against a strong Castleisland side. It was not only the scoreline which impressed but the manner and style of play by the Fenit players was at times a joy to watch. This was shown by numerous of the fenit goals being scored after some beautiful passages of play often containing 10-20 passes. Goals by Johnathan trent 2, Eddie Mccarthy 2, Oisin Horgan and Dara Heim sealed the win for fenit with Castleisland replying with two very well worked goals. On a day where all players performed excellently best players for Fenit were Conor gaynor, Dara Heim and Johnathan Trent.
