Our U11’s travelled to Castleisland in our second game of the season after a narrow defeat in our opening game to the Park. We showed good determination and battled well on a windy day, with our captain on the day Ben Donellan leading from the back.
An early goal from Tomas Godley set us on the way which was quickly followed by a second from Donnagh Murphy. Castleisland proved a tough test, putting us under pressure in the second half . There was some great individual and team play which saw us run out 4-3 winners with goals from Eddie McCarthy and Dylan Ryan.
Well done to all who played as there was a big improvement and hopefully we can keep it going.
