Our Under 14s lost out 3 nil at home to Camp last Saturday afternoon on a very soft pitch. We were 2 down after 5 minutes which was hard to fathom after a very thorough warm up. Both goals came as a result of soft defending where tackles were not put in when required. We went down to 10 men during the first half rather harshly we felt but instead of upping our game we went into our shell and the first half passed us by. We played well in the second but eventually tired and conceded a third at the end but can be happy by the second half performance. Best for us were Brian O’Regan in goals and Padraig O’Mahony in defence. We train again on Wednesday night and we hope all will there ready to work hard.
